Auto sprint forward toggle option not working, please help

Summarize your bug All battlefields have lacked this for years and its really frustrating. Ability to toggle auto sprint on or off with one key. Specifically I want to be able to tap W or mouse wheel once, and the character sprints forward continuously, and tap W again, he stops. Its just a toggle sprint forward option. This is really simple request, and its frankly shameful its not in the game options. I consider it a bug, because, contrary to what the game options/key bindings imply, I should be able to toggle auto sprint on or off. I cant. Please fix. Think about it, on these large maps (especially conquest, rush, etc), youre spending 99% of the time running across large swaths of ground just to get to the action. If I have to hold W and shift down constantly, its really annoying, it causes legit physical pain in the hands (can lead to carpal tunnel), and is completely redundant and Unnecessary. And honestly I dont see how ANYONE, not the Battlefield players, the developers, could have a valid reason not to add this option. Almost every RPG and FPS out there has an autorun toggle option, why havent these games? It makes no sense to redundantly hold keys when you could have a toggle option to sprint. You have toggle for zoom, crouch, and hold breath, but not sprint.... WHY? Please fix this, I consider it a dealbreaker and other people have posted about this problem too. I dont want to write some ahk script because its a hassle, the devs should have added this feature, and I dont know if a simple script like that is against ToS. Its really simple, add a toggle auto run feature in options. Its long overdue. Please. You will only reduce pain for people with hand strain, carpal tunnel issues. Thank you.

What should be happening instead? allow proper auto sprint toggle on key stroke, so were not required to hold key to run forward 99% of the time.
