battle

my battlefield 5 recently stopped working. whenever i try to launch it from steam origin or EA desktop it stars launching via steam where the preparing to launch window pops up then less than a second later disappears. no error message nothing. sometimes it grays out the play button a second time without clicking on it but not always. I've tried uninstalling, repairing, running as admin and a lot more but nothing seems to help. has anyone else had this problem and if so how do i fix it.

    Can you try a new Windows account with Admin rights and see if that helps. @BAC0NBUS

  • Hey, @BAC0NBUS  can you try to do a clean boot to see if there any programs messing with Battlefield V and turn off any overlay programs for example Discord or Nvidia experience.

     

    Can you add a Dxdiag so we can see what hardware and drivers you have?

    Thanks for the help but the clean boot didn't seem to work the first time or the second when I followed the other path but I am attaching the DxDiag to this if that will help.

    I have tried that before but I didn't try it at the same time as your suggestions. Should I?

    Try and see @BAC0NBUS can also be one drive or gdrive can cause some issues with document folder and saving try turning them off if you have them.

    @EA_Atic those don't seem to be the problem. is there anything else it could be because I'm willing to reset my computer if you think that would help? Thanks
