Solved

Battlefield 1 and 5 don't launch

I tried ALL fixes i found in other forums and nothing worked. I click "play" button and nothing happens.

May it be a problem with one of the pc components, like gpu? Because i formated the pc and nothing changed

Ok, so it ended up being a CPU problem. I tested all the pc components and finally figured out that the CPU (i5 9400f) was the problem. The store gave me a new one and now boths games run perfectly.

    Thank you for your help.

In my case I can see bf1.exe or bfv.exe start, but no window shows up. Looking at task manager you can see that no CPU is consumed. After a little while another instance is started and after a minute or two they give up and exit.

I recently upgraded my GPU from a GTX 970 to an RTX 2070 Super and I don't BF has worked since that upgrade.

I am a professional software developer, so let me know if I need to run some tests on my PC.

I've tried with clean installations of windows 10 and 8, in another hdd and sdd and the result is always the same. The first time I run the game the message of not being able to validate the game with the EA servers appears. After that nothing happens and next times I try to run the game, the "BEX64" error occurs.

    Hi,

I have managed to fix my issue with Battlefield 1.

I ran Process Monitor to see what the game was doing during start-up, and discovered a lot of failed connection attempts to kubernetes.docker.internal. Turns out my Docker Desktop installation was blocking BF1 from connecting to Origin.

Uninstalled Docker Desktop, rebooted, and now BF1 is working again.

Process Monitor really is a magical tool.
