This is what frustrates me. It seems to take a year or more to get a Battlefield game on track with balance, bugs, and content. So why not take what you had with BFV in it's final state and rework it to a modern setting with new weapons and gadgets? Despite the poor reveal, lack of content, no iconic battles, and the TTK debacle BFV felt good. Seems like it'd save a ton of time and resources that would be better served for optimization and future content. I'm not a fan to re-skin a game a resell it but I'd prefer that right now over the mess that is 2042.But here we are again with a poor broken launch with no content in sight and radio silence from EA/DICE. Deja Vu?
