Community ManagerHey Battlefield fans,
We're seeing plenty of Xbox One users online and we'll need some specific information to help identify what could be causing this to happen for you. Can you all try the basic steps below to see if you get in and if not, respond back with the following?
- ISP
- Region
- Gamertag
Power Cycle the Console
- Turn off the Xbox One console by pressing the Xbox button on the front of the console for about 10 seconds until it shuts down completely.
- Unplug the console's power cable. Wait 10 seconds.
Important Be sure to wait 10 seconds. This step resets the power supply.
- Plug the console power cable back in.
- Press the Xbox button on your console to turn on the Xbox One.
Clear Mac Address
- Clear the MAC Address: From the Xbox dashboard select Settings>All Settings>Network>Network Settings>Advanced Settings>Alternate MAC address>Clear, then restart your Xbox.
Reboot the Network
- Unplug the modem/router power for about 5 minutes to refresh the network. A fresh connection can help clear up most basic connectivity issues.
- Nothing worked...spent 5 hours reloading..changing settings..changing them back....this is the only game that doesnt work..its not my net..its not my xbox one x...please help..
Your not alone. Imagine all the people not on this forum wondering “WTF”. Typical EA fashion, silence. I asked for a refund and was ignored. We should all be compensated as this isn’t even about firestorm. We can’t even access 85% of the title itself. I remember the days before EA published DICE when BF wasn’t a s%#! show. EA literally ruins everything they touch and craps on their core base who actually purchase their stuff. This is why this company is voted the worse gaming company year in and out.
None of this helps, I was able to play the day before firestorm dropped and now I am finishing up day 2 without being able to play at all. Nothing is wrong with my ISP or Xbox this is all on EA’s end
It's not just Xbox. Ps4 as well. Also, when are you going to deal with the aim bot hacks and other hackers. stop nerfing guns and start taking care of your original base. You've ruined BF in the recent years. Firestorm is pretty great when you're not getting kicked from squad parties . At least you did that almost right. Looting is a pain and duos would be nice.
