Battlefield 5 Freezing computer

Hey everybody, I bought battlefield 5 a few days ago and when i play for 10 - 25 minutes my computer just freeze. (The computer stops and then I have to restart) This happens in multiplayer and single player.

The game runs at 100+ fps and while looking in task manager none of the parts are even running at 100%.

I have been trying everything I can think about but nothing seems to help.

Things I tired:

  1. Verify game files

  2. Playing in low or ultra settings

  3. Playing in full screen and borderless

  4. Playing with dx12 and without it

  5. Stress test the graphics card, cpu, and ssd (they all performed normaly)

  6. Sfc scannow in cmd

  7. Run the game as administrator

  8. Redownload the game
  9. Clean my computer from dust

My computer:

Windows 10 64bit

Gpu - rtx 2080 super

Cpu - Intel core i9 9900k

Memory- 64gb

I have the latest nividia driver and windows update

  • Hey @dakillerxd

. turn OFF overclocking (BIOS setting)
.You have a lot of errors in the system
.First, switch the system to Windows 10 PRO it would be better

.Clear drivers graphics card NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 SUPER
    use DDU
    tutorial video

(after you use DDU uninstaller in Safe mode and you restart your computer, TURN OFF YOUR INTERNET AS SOON AS YOU RESTART! What happened to me, while downloading a new driver, my internet was also downloading a 2017 driver was was negatively affecting the games i play because basically two different drivers are mixing info together. Turn internet off immediately after using DDU in safe mode and restarting and then download the new driver you have while OFFLINE and you should be good to go!)

But if you want to experience without problems after installing a new system, it is better

  • Hey @mouhlito thanks for replaying.

I have tried what you wrote,

I did a clean install of the gpu driver (removing the old one with ddu),

and set the bios settings to default.

But now when i try to start the game from steam or origin it will lunch origin for a second, in steam it ses the game is running

    and then nothing happens.

I added the new dxd file after the clean install.

    -ShellBrowserCancel
    -LiveKernelEvent
    -RADAR_PRE_LEAK_64
    -storelayout.cpp

    ....

    It should be fixed
