Hello @II9lllI,
Sorry to hear you're having trouble with Battlefield V. Here are several steps you can try to resolve the crashing issue on startup:
Update Graphics Drivers: Make sure your graphics card drivers are up to date. Visit the NVIDIA or AMD website to download the latest drivers.
Verify Game Files:
- If you’re using Steam, right-click on Battlefield V in your library, go to Properties > Local Files, and click on Verify Integrity of Game Files.
- If you’re using the EA app, right-click on the game in your library and select Repair Game.
Disable Overlays: Disable any overlays from applications like Steam, EA app, or Discord, as these can sometimes cause conflicts.
Run as Administrator: Right-click on the game executable or the launcher (EA app or Steam) and select Run as Administrator.
Check for Windows Updates: Ensure your Windows operating system is fully updated.
Disable Background Applications: Close any unnecessary background applications that might interfere with the game, including any third-party software.
Check System Requirements: Make sure your PC meets the minimum requirements to run Battlefield V.
Check Event Viewer: If the game crashes, check Windows Event Viewer for any error messages that might provide more information about the crash.
Reinstall DirectX and Visual C++ Redistributables: Sometimes, reinstalling DirectX and the Visual C++ Redistributables can help resolve issues.
Best regards,
danisoff
