You indeed need to use the EA app when claiming/wanting to play a game via the EA Play that you get via Xbox Game Pass.
If the EA app uninstalls Origin, you should be able to manually install it again and use both on your system. You can't use both at the same time, one has to be manually shut down before you can start the other.
We all purchased the game through origin. My problem is the same issues. I bought the game but EA *snip* app probably thinks I don't own it. Is there a way to refresh the licenses?
