Having multiple versions of the same game installed on the same system, but via different launchers, can cause these sorts of issues. I would recommend uninstalling the BFV Xbox Game Pass version and after that performing a Repair of the BFV Steam version to see if that fixes the issue for you.
Alright. I had done all of the previous steps other people had. I eventually unlinked onedrive from my computer and it started right up. No problems what so ever. Please try this step if you haven't!!!!

Hey @bruskyiv,
OneDrive could indeed be causing this as well, as the Setting folder for BFV is located in the Documents folder and it is possible that OneDrive is constantly trying to sync that folder.

I just did a fresh windows install and installed EA and BFV and the same error comes up "Get an app to open this 'com.epicgames.launcher' Link Your PC doesn't have an app that can open this link. Try looking for a compatible app in the microsoft store.
Should we stop asking for help or is something going to get fixed?
