Battlefield 5 Year 2 edition upgrade?

Why can't I upgrade from standard edition to Year 2 edition on Ps4? I would like to upgrade it because I missed most of the content through the year.

    Year 2 edition is not just upgrade, it is whole game bundle with all that gear on it.. 🙂

    I understand that, but it would be nice if could buy an upgrade because I have missed almost the whole year of content which is now gone.

      @HyphyMud7 You can at least buy the primary weapons and the vehicles you've missed using CC, from the My Company menu (select the option to change weapon and you'll see them in the lists for all your infantry classes). I don't think there's a way of getting the cosmetics and melee weapons though, but could be wrong there.
