BF1 superior game, gunplay, maps. The depth ratio is far superior. The number #1 biggest complaint is that everything seems smaller in BFV -
In BF1 you can iron sight targets at further distances, in BFV you wont see them without a 3x scope.
If that was fixed be much better game, everyone says this. Universal complaint

bf1 having superior gunplay is not something that many would agree on tbh. Quite the contrary in fact. I played bfv for a long time and recently went back to bf1 and the experience was much worse than i remembered it. The gunplay is very shallow and also frustrating at time due to gimmick systems like the over the top suppresion. EVERY SINGLE GUN in bf1 (at average) kicks straight up with no horizontal recoil bias. Spread values render cqb guns useless at ridiculously low ranges, lmgs are most effective when just straight up full auto firing at any range and slr handling only differs in terms of the tapping speed that you can use while maintaining maximum accuracy. Whether or not this is more or less "skillfull" is a different question as denoted by many other before. More complex gunplay doesnt necessarily mean more skillbased. However, bf1 gunplay being rather shallow is simply a fact, no way arround it.
There are a lot of things you can complain about in bfv but gunplay isn't one of them, especially when comparing it to bf1.
