Battlefield V Crashes and reboots my PC

Summarize your bug Every time I play the game freezes and freezes my PC and reboots my PC.
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Not sure. I googled it and lots of people have this issue
What happens when the bug occurs? The whole PC freezes then reboots. then I have to unplug my keyboard and replug it in
What should be happening instead? The game should not crash and freeze my PC

 This is becoming increasingly worse. At first it only happened every once in awhile. Now its every time with in 10 min of playing. This is the only game this does it in. I have benched marked my PC and stress tested it and get no issues. only Battlefield 5.  I have ran a repair, launched as admin, updated graphics driver to latest full release, and reinstalled the game. nothing fixes it

    I have had no more issues since last reported. I have upped the FPS in the in game settings to 200 FPS and no issues. I am going to turn my overclock back to 4.9GHz on all 6 cores and see what happens.

    Same here.
    Battlefield 5 comes with a lot of bugs, bad optimization causing freeze in gameplay.
    It's boring, every time boot the pc.

    It looks like the solution provided fix it for the original poster and others within the post as well. When it comes to troubleshooting it's possible one solution works for many others but not everyone, so you'll have to find some additional workarounds to figure out what sticks for your setup.

    Since the latest patch my computer restarts once it gets to the bfv splash loading screen. I have done all the above steps and still nothing is working. Performed a clean removal of origin and redownloaded bfv 3 times. I can run BF1,BF4,CSGO,Pubg,Dota2,Blops4 and Autocad with no issues.Drivers are all up-to-date and windows up-to-date.

     @lll-PAGES-lll I see that you have a lot of drives. Do you have Origin and BFV both installed on the same drive? If not, try installing them both on the same drive. If you have any of those drives set up to your PC with a USB port try unplugging the other ones.

    My pc crashes to BSOD almost every time I play or if I have played the game. After I exit BFV and try to play another game I get crash. Contacted their support 3-4 times and they solutions never worked.

    I just bought new NVMe m.2 drive for fresh windows10 install to eliminate other software compatibility , and all games are installed on another NVMe M.2. all I got installed on my PC is BFV and The Division 2 and only software I need for my motherboard. I played about 2hrs and crash again. PC is only 6mnths old with premium parts so I got no Idea what's wrong. Here's error :

    I'm fed up with this game now all we get is either patch which brakes other things or crashes to desktop plus unbalanced gameplay.

    Ok so bought new PC to play BF V in 1440p... and the same things as you guys said before happened. I couldn't even go into menu becuase game seems to restart my PC each time i try to launch it. My PC config is Ryzen 5 3600, 16 GB of RAM and RTX 2070 super from MSI. I tried to install game on my HDD and SSD and it doesnt help. It seems that i wont subscribe origin access for next month. BTW on my old PC (R9 290, 8 GB of ram and i5 4460) there wasnt any issues at all, maybe except low framerate :P
