Battlefield V crashing on launch

I have the same problem, nothing works. Dice is a shell of its former self. It's a bug that won't let the game launch.

You can try these different methods below and hopefully one of these methods may fix your problem.

• Turn off Origin in-game overlay and any other overlay you might be using (Discord, Nvidia GeForce Experience, etc.)
• Reinstall your graphics card drivers.
• Issues with OneDrive.

  After you have done one of the above, go to the Documents folder and rename Battlefield V folder to any name (For example: Battlefield V - Backup) and then launch the game.
  If that work, then you can delete the BFV backup folder and enjoy playing the game.
  If that doesn't work, then you can delete the newly created Battlefield V folder in documents (if it exists) and rename the old BFV folder to Battlefield V (Original name).
• Play on different Microsoft account.

• Manually repairing your hard drive.

  1. Log out of Origin.
  2. Close Origin completely, make sure it's not running in the background.

  3. Check Hard Drive For Errors And Corrupted Files

     Scan your hard drive. Do this for all hard drives that has Windows, Origin and the game installed.

     1. Go to This PC in File Explorer and right click on the hard drive and select Properties.
        
     2. Go to Tools and and click on Check.
        
     3. Click Scan Drive and let it scan for errors.
     4. If it finds errors, let the program fix them.
        (If there are errors it could mean nothing, but it can also suggest that it might be time to format your computer and/or replace the hard drive)
     5. Reboot your computer.
     6. Run the scan again.
     7. Keep repeating the previous steps until no errors are found.
• System File Checker tool.

  ◉  Close Origin completely, make sure it's not running in the background.
  ◉  Run CMD as administrator and type this command "sfc /scannow".
  ◉  Once the process is complete, restart your PC
  
  Repeat the previous steps until no error are found.
  
• Repair corrupted files found on the operation system.

  Please do NOT try this method UNLESS you tried the System File Checker tool method first and it tell you that there are some corrupted files that can't be fixed.

  ---

  ◉  Close Origin completely, make sure it's not running in the background.
  ◉  Run CMD as administrator and type this command "Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth".
  ◉  Once the process is complete, restart your PC.

Non of this helped for me either. Also tried verifying the files/ repairing and installing the game on a different hard drive

These possible solutions may fix your problem:

• Clean boot.
• Clear cache.
• In the audio settings, set the Sound Preset setting to "War Tapes".
• Turn off Vertical Sync and DX12.
• Closing background applications.
• Uninstall Origin then use uninstaller software (like CCleaner) to hunt down the files and do a full wipe of Origin. After that, restart your PC and reinstall Origin again.

This didn't work either. The game just crashes as soon as I hit play in the menu. I've tried every bit of troubleshooting possible so far.

I'll try these when I can, I'll also let you know if these worked. Thanks for the help regardless though!
