  • Hi there, sorry to hear you're running into this. I understand that you’ve already tried a lot of different steps and that this has been frustrating.

Could you please share a bit more information, including any relevant Windows Event Viewer logs and your DxDiag report?

Also, do you remember if anything changed on your PC between the time the game was working and when the issue started? For example, have any driver updates or new software been installed?

If you’re using an AMD GPU, it may also be worth trying a driver rollback or a clean driver installation. Please also make sure Windows is fully updated.

    Thanks for your patience.

Sorry, I missed your earlier reply.

Based on the report, please try the following steps:

    1. Switch Battlefield V to DX11 mode

    Go to: Documents\Battlefield V\settings

    Open: PROFSAVE_profile

    Find GstRender.Dx12Enabled

    Set it to 0

Save the file and relaunch the game

    2. Repair or verify the game files

EA app: Library > Battlefield V > Manage > Repair

Steam: Properties > Installed Files > Verify integrity of game files

    3. Disable all overlays temporarily

Perform a clean installation of the latest NVIDIA graphics driver

    4. Install the latest ASUS / Intel motherboard drivers

    Intel Chipset Driver

    Intel Management Engine Driver

    5. Repair Windows system files

    Open Command Prompt as Administrator

    Run:

    DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

    Then run:

    sfc /scannow

Restart the PC and test Battlefield V again
