enter the console WIN+R cmd and ipconfig /flushdns
Check the IPv4 parameters of your network adapter and configure the following DNS server addresses ( 1.1.1.1 and 1.0.0.1).
check that your windows firewall is correctly configured or if you have any other try to disable it.
If you have a router, check its configuration or in that case add the ports of battlefield V, here is a list of the ports used by battlefield V (1935,3478-3480,9988,10000-10100,17502,42127 UDP: 3074, 3478-3479,3659,14000-14016).
Make sure you have updated the EA application which replaced Origin. Due to this recent change many have had the same problem when playing on steam.
💡 As a rare thing EA has not given any response to these types of errors and disconnections from the game and it is the community who have to take care of repairing this.
Are you able to help walk me through the DNS set up? Also how would this help establish connectivity with EA online? BTW I was able to flush DNS, established the correct ports for forwarding for BFV (steam), reset firewall settings and regranted permissions to BFV to connect over the network via firewall settings and still nothing...
