Battlefield V Laggs

Hi, The Battlefield V final version is really lagging for me.
My PC Spec:
CPU: i3 9100f
RAM: 8GB
GPU: GTX 1050 TI(4GB)
OS: Windows 11 Pro x64
Storage: HDD(Hard Disk Drive)
When I'm in Game, The Game Shows Low FPS(Orange Icon And Sometimes Red) and Packet Loss(orange icon).
the Frostbite mostly uses CPU And My CPU is even more powerful than Intel Core i7 4790
Also About GPU, On of my Friend With GTX 1050 was Playing Battlefield V Without any lag And mine is GTX 1050 TI and is better but Game Lags for me
And I'm sure MY GPU's Driver is up to date, I turned every settings to lower as possible + DirectX 12 Disabled
I already used all of these settings and it didn't work: Set up for the most FPS in BFV - Answer HQ (ea.com)
I don't know what to do anyone help please
Shall I buy 16GB RAM Or More Powerful GPU ?
  • Is it only laggy in multiplayer matches or even if you play in single player missions?

Was just thinking about the overall interne connection if that could cause any issues.

    Greets,

    Travis

  • Dear @mouhlito Thanks For You Reply.
I think so, But Question Why Any Other DICE Frostbite Engine Games aren't lagging Like This ?
Like Battlefront 2, Battlefield 1 Which I Played on this very Windows 11
Also I can't Find Any Article About Windows 11 Game Performance Problems. I think we'd had this very same situation on Windows 10 too
I think i just need 16GB RAM , And That Would Fix The Problem Like You said

Yes 16GO Big difference when increasing RAM, but choose the same frequency and size of RAM you have
because ram DDR4 Very sensitive in terms of its difference, buy the same frequency and size and brand....
Try to install Windows on an SSD Much better

Hm, weird. I don't expect it to be the general overall connection then if it's even offline laggy. 🤨

  • @mouhlitoExactly MY Motherboard is Dual Channel and 2400 mhz

+ Like I told you My Windows 11 And Battlefied V Both are on SSD
My SSD: Crucial P5 NVMe M.1 SSD 250GB, it's really fast this SSD

@Its_Travis_199 Yeah This Problem Nobody can Solve it.
I'm a Game Programmer But Never Seen Anything Like this
Everything Seems Right But it doesn't works idk where's the problem
  • I've been thinking, it could be your GPU driver was installed on Win 11 before the SFC scan repaired some OS files.

Lets do these two commands to prep the OS for a clean driver install in command prompt (admin):

    dism.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth
    sfc /scannow

Then reinstall the GPU driver cleanly:

Press the Win key and type "Advanced system settings".

In the hardware tab click "device installation settings".

Click the no option and save changes.

Then Download a fresh copy of your Driver and install DDU to uninstall your GPU drivers then go into safe mode.

-Once the DDU shows its settings on launch tick everything except the "store config file in roaming folder" and "enable safe mode dialog"-

Uninstall the GPU driver in safe mode and restart the PC so it boots normally.

Then install a fresh copy of the driver.

    Nice @Mafia_Bar

Sdd Crucial One of the best Brands

add RAM 8go Frequency 2400 mhz +Timings And if it is better, you will find from the same brand

and then did On XMP profiles in Bios

Literally, the performance of the Pc will vary in games, applications and running

Hey Everyone, I found a solution for this problem.

Looks like Windows 11 uses more RAM than Windows 10, because of the Windows 11 beautiful graphics and etc + Windows 11 has a lot of app which run in background (You can't shut them off)

So I decided to downgrade to Windows 10 and I did.

Now Battlefield V works perfectly without any problem, I get 60 FPS in highest graphic settings.

    So the solution is:

If you have a normal PC Spec like me DON'T UPGRADE TO WINDOWS 11

because Windows 11 makes your pc weak (I'm not saying Windows 11 is a bad OS, I'm just saying for normal PCs if you want to play more games don't upgrade to Windows 11)

So just stick with Windows 10 and if you like beautiful graphics use some tools in the internet to do that.

or just upgrade your PC specially your RAM 16Gb RAM would be good, I think.

so good luck everybody, Have a great life.
    My regards to EA.

  • Hey, can you show how its plays now? And you FPS count)
I have the same specs, and I also have a friend with a weaker CPU (he have i3 8100 with 2 cores). But he doesn`t have lags. Also, I have lags in Battlefront II sometimes. But usually, there are around 70 FPS. When in BF5 40-55.
I have Win10. I think of reinstalling my Win10, but there are files that I don`t want to lose. So, do you think that +8 Gb RAM can solve this problem?

P.S. I have the same hard lagging before, like in your video. But after I turned off background processes, and a little bit cleared my HDD. After that, it lags less, but FPS is still below 60. And sometimes the image on the screen also freezes like in your video.
