Hi There! This really needs to be fixed between Steam and EA with connections to their 3rd party app, but do the following:
1. Type "RegEdit" on your search bar (without the quotation marks, obviously);
2. Open "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE";
3. Open "SOFTWARE";
4. Locate and open the "EA Games" folder;
5. Open the Battlefield V folder;
6. At this point you should have some register entries on the right side, one of them is the "Install Dir", double click on it;
7. Now you just need to paste the path where your Battlefield V is installed, seems like the EA App is not able to map that directory for itself;
8. Close the Register Editor and it should do the trick.
Hey, so I've been having the same problem for a while and when I go into the registry there's no "Install Dir" entry so I tried making my own and following the rest of the steps, but it didn't help. Curious if you have any incite as you're the first person I've seen that's been able to solve this problem.
