BF1 and BFV pc crashes [POTENTIAL FIX]

programfile(x86) -> steam -> steamapps-> common-> battlefield5-> eaanticheat ->eaaanticheatinstaller.tool start -> battlefieldV select -> update !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

(i dont take credit for this, this is via 'ckh9008' on the steam BFV forums)

after perusing steam and ea forums for 5 days, ive found 2 solutions that seemed to have worked for people. the one listed above is the one i tried out, its currently working. im able to play BFV for the first time since i bought it. knowing ea though, theres no guarantee that this is a foolproof method. 

im also assuming youd have to follow the same steps for BF1.

ill list the other solution below, ive not tried it myself but ive seen people allege that it works (apparently)

 

THE FOLLOWING IS A COPYPASTA, I DID NOT WRITE THIS OUT MYSELF:

 

 I reinstalled EA Anti Cheat from their site for installed them to the EA games that I have installed and it seems to work now. https://cdn.eaanticheat.ac.ea.com/EAAntiCheat.Installer.exe

    this worked! omg after so many hard resets it worked. I installed anti cheat directly from the site, and reinstalled battlefield V, as soon as it asks me to install anti-cheat I said no and installed the file directly into the BFV folder. thank you!

    edit: upon closing the application, my PC crashed. LMAO but the game works now i guess.

    thats great!!! so far its working for me, did you try the solution above too? ive yet to try the link yet but ive things go south for me ill check it out

    I have the same problem, I play bfv last of theday .. then it can crash.....

    It seemed to work once, but still doestn work. Ive heard a redditor say it cooked their windows, so this is a pretty bad crash,,,
