Can`t chat in game in BFV!

While I'm by no means certain, it could be due to your username, if it's the same in-game as it is here. In the past, the chat filter has stopped people from sending messages if the name contains a prohibited word. It's incredibly mild, but there is a word in your username that could potentially apply. 

You could experiment by changing your username and seeing if chat starts working again. If it doesn't, then you'll know that something else is causing the problem.

I thought it was just a bug I alone encountered. For several months, I couldn't figure out why I couldn't type chat messages by pressing Enter, though I could still use the J or K keys to speak. But now it doesn’t matter anymore—I can only lie back and wait for them to release me from this "prison," without having to worry about those minor bugs.😆

That is nuts. Ok, I`ll try to change it and hopefully start to work again.

Just the filter being too harsh from what I understand. 

i had the same issue.  i had **bleep** in my name and they banned my chat until i changed it.  then is was fine again
