BF5 Crashing during start-up

Hello! I have had BF5 since release and have been able to play fine for a long time. I stopped playing the game about 7-8 months ago and did not update the game. Come this week I went to boot Origin...

    @bandaidpro OK so tech support helped me out. I renamed my "Battlefield V" folder inside Documents to something else so the game would do it's thing and redownload. Game works now. There is something wrong with the files inside the original "BFV" file. Not sure what it is.

@Skinka321 I faced the same issue. You have to go to documents and rename the folder called Battlefield5 to anything else. It works now after a prompt to update

Heyo, I have trotted across the internet trying to solve the same issue, game crashing after 30 seconds and won't get past the splash screen. 

I have tried everything I could but unfortunately, I have never even been able to launch the game, so I do not have this folder in documents. I am not sure on what to do anymore, thinking of refunding the game if I even can. 

Please any tips would be helpful.

I have play every battlefield in the series and am yet to enjoy this one, that's really what I want, not to refund.
