Right click the sound icon in bottom right corner > open sound settings > sound control panel > right click whatever you use for listening (it should have a green check mark) and click properties > enhancements tab > make sure "disable all enhancements" is not checked. Because for whatever reason, that caused problems in this game. Yeah its a post from 2 years ago but I got notifications so hopefully it helps.

Hi, the fix to the bug is to not use "disable all sound effects" in Windows sound settings, like I put in the bug report. Only 2 games of hundreds that I have installed and played have that bug. Which isn't a Windows problem if the cut-scenes speed up by 1000%
  • How dfo you disable all sound effects exactly. Where in the windows 10 layout is that?

We can say all things here but please see: https://answers.ea.com/t5/Bug-Reports/Audio-loss-during-gameplay/m-p/9015168#M26920

This is a topic I created where you see Windows sound is ok. No driver issue at all but just audio is loosing while playing.

So yes we can handle this as technical issue and see where to improve the players system. But I think this is also proof a bug rarely occurs where audio just is lost.

@moccor @ , I would advice you to check audio into BFV and see if you get different results by changing for example 3d headphone in speakers etc.

Edit: wrong tag - and noticed this topic is 2 years old 🥳
