I sense a Temperature Problem. Did you check your Temps (CPU, GPU, other Motherboard Sensors you might have) while palying?
Playing don't get to get into a game the gpu driver crashes on the start-up screen and cannot read anything. The highest my GPU gets on a high load lets say with cyberpunk as an example is 72C and cpu maybe 48C. Icannot read anything when the screen goes grey with lines all over.
Again the GPU driver crash at game launch when it attempts to go to fullscreen and i cannot adjust the settings.

Update: So i noticed when i try to put the mass effect game into 4k the GPU driver crashes... before hand it would start in 4k but when i swapped to boardless window and then back to fullscreen it started having issues and now it starts in a resolution just a step lower.
I wonder if this is the same type of issue with BFV since it start the launch screen in window format before going into fullscreen- Pointi19785 years agoNew Ace
So, your game does not start correctly at all, so of course it is not a temperature problem :D
Now it looks like your monitor does not like the combination of Resolution and Refresh Rate the game wants it to output in fullscreen mode.
Go open the file PROFSAVE_profile in your documents/Battleflied V Folder with the normal text editor and look up the following values:
GstRender.FullscreenRefreshRate
and
GstRender.ResolutionHeight (should be 2160 for 4k, drop to 1080 for 2k)
and
GstRender.ResolutionWidth (should be 3840 for 4k, drop to 1920 for 2k)
The game has a strange habbit for not correctly detecting the maximum herz / refresh rate of your monitor, mine should be 120hz but the game puts it to 119.879997 strangely.
But it does not matter much for me because it supports GSync and Variable Refresh Rate so I do not really notice it while playing.
Try put in values your monitor supports, e.g. 1920x1080x60hz (try 59 too) and see if this helps.
Or you can try to set GstRender.FullscreenEnabled to 0 and see if the game at least starts so you can go to the options...
EDIT: Oh just found in your DXDiag:
Native Mode: 3840 x 2160(p) (59.997Hz)
so this should be the values you should aim for in the file.
