I just bought it yesterday and downloaded it this morning
It didn't even start once
when I click play origin closes and opens again without anything hapening
I deleted cache, uninstalled origin, updated win and driver
nothing happened
pls help
PS: I played open beta without problem
DICE TeamI also have the probem of not entering the game, Im stuck in an eternal black screen and cant even enter the menu, does EA has any info on this problem? I cant find reliable info, I cant refund now and I havent played even once the game, I did all those steps, clean boot, turning off all overlays, Ive been two days trying a lot of stuff and nothing. You are on a laptop right?is your nvidia 950m selected to be the primary gpu when you run advanced 3d application such as games?

I play BF1 & BF4 without problem
No change with directX install
Hmm..try this one, go to Origin -> My Game Library -> Battlefield V -> Settings -> Repair.
Also,try opening origin as an administrator.
I'm not sure if we are allowed to post youtube links here,if not i apologize but you can also try the solutions proposed in the video below,remember though what you change cause you might have to revert the changes made in case it doesn't help you.

@Pianissimo2 Looking at your specs I can see no reason why you shouldn't be able to play. Are you using DX11 or DX12 for BF5?
I have DX12 but the problem is that I cant change anything, I cant even enter the menu, and I dont have a settings folder.
Repaired more than 10 times no change
I have no settings folder to change that in first solution
When I change compatibility settings it stops working
May I ask for full copy of BFV settings folder files???

What does it say in event viewer on crash log? In my case it was the nv_dispi.inf being corrupted or something. I've used DDU Uninstaller and reinstalled newest drivers again and it started working again.
