BFV Mic not being detected in game

Hi, for some reason BF5 isn't picking up my mic anymore. It's been working fine for me until i took a 30min break, came back and now there is no mic symbol next to my name & I'm unable to use VOIP. 

I haven't changed any in game settings, VOIP is on, volumes are set at 100% ect.

Origin is detecting my mic and i can hear myself clearly when i "test microphone" through origin.
Recording devices is picking up my mic and I can hear myself when i test through that too.

On other games and discord my mic is working fine.

I have tried unplugging mic, using different jacks and restarting PC.

Any ideas as to why all of a sudden my mic wouldn't be working? Any other things I could try?

    [SOLVED] [FIXED]

    I had the same problem as everyone. Mic works in everything else including testing in origins but NOT in VOIP bfv.

    Steps to fix (at least for me)

    1. In Origins set voip key to something you will never use numpad 9.

    2. Open BFV and set VOIP key to the real binding you want.

    3. Turn VOIP OFF

    4. Turn VOIP ON

    5. Enjoy BF with coms.

    *IDK if there are extra steps, these are the ones that fixed it for me though.*

    This just started happening to me in the past day too. no mic. no icon in game. totally bugging me out.

    In any game my mic works fine, when testing in origin it does also but ingame i can't hear anyone or see the little speaker thing activate.

    probably a silly question - have you checked the audio settings menu in-game to see if the Mic is muted in anyway?

    In the settings that you checked is the in game VOIP also enabled? For example Origin sees my mic because I use it for discord while playing but in my in game audio settings in game VOIP is disabled.

    I'm having the same problem. VOIP is enabled in game, mic test works in Origin and my mic works in other games. So frustrating.

    Any help would be appreciated as I really want to communicate with my squad!

    Hey @Doliver666,

    Thanks for all the information you provided.

    Have you also checked the little Speaker Icon on your Task Bar, on your Desktop, to see if your headset/microphone is the default device?

    Also, have you tried repairing the Game Files, and see if that helps?

    Tried this. Still have the same issue. Would really like to be able to communicate with teammates
