I just started playing BF5 again (didn't play for a longer time) and noticed that right now, maybe due to one of the last updates, it's completely overloading my CPU. I have an i7 8700k + RTX 2080, and as soon as I am in the game, BF5 is putting 98-100% load on the CPU.
All the time it hits the 100%, the GPU usage is dropping quite a lot, causing heavy stuttering. This is in DX11. Switching to DX12 reduces CPU load slightly (~95% average), but nevertheless it will still hit 100% frequently which also causes stuttering.
I know for sure, that directly after release last year, BF5 caused only 60-70% CPU load average on my 8700k. Back then, I had no stuttering at all. I was using Windows 10 1809 at that time, now I have 1903, maybe that's the reason?
The only workaround for me right now is to limit the fps. I play on 1440p+Ultra and usually have 110-140fps average. If I put a fps limit to 100fps, CPU usage drops by ~10-20% and the stuttering is gone.
So I rather sacrifice these ~40 fps to give more headroom to the CPU instead of having this nasty stuttering.

Am I an awful person if I bump this again ,saying performance has still bit a bit wild with my hardware? Only for Battlefield V.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nlQqvVpb49c&feature=youtu.be this is DX11 , fps counter is up top right, but should be visible.
I'm really not sure how to improve, would like to give BFV more time but it just won't perform on my hardware! Settings can be seen about 1:20 in teh video.
Any help or advice appreciated.
