Boys at rifle will not equip

I bought the boys at rifle with the bf coins that I bought with really money. I went to equip it and it will

not equip.  I thinks for a while and then showed me the X on the screen. Please help. I have spent real

money to get this and it’s not working. Is it because there is still one day to do the trail by fire and do the things to win the rifle or what?  Please help me out

    Hey @brocksw1, you currently can't buy the Boys at rifle as its part of Tides of war that should be over in a few hours (2h 30min at the time of writing), and it looks like you bought a skin for that gun. A heads up all the items in the Armory (ignoring shipment) are skins for characters and guns.
     
    Once Tides of war is done I can take a day or two until we added it so you can buy the actual gun with company coins (Normally is 1700 CC).
     
    To be able to buy the gun you are going to need company coins and will be under the Recon loadout and then replace weapon.

    that seems really misleading,it does not say anywhere in the game that it  is only for the skin!!! congratulations ps you seemed to dupe some people out of  some more money

    This is funny I dont see where it says skins I bought it today as well and I cant Equip at all, I get a big fat X. Please help.

    The Armory is the in-game store for Battlefield V.
    Think of everything in there as a "skin".

    If you want to see available weapons that you own, still to unlock through ranking up, or those that you can unlock with company coin, go to your Company.

    its bait and switch . Nothing on there says skin only wtf? 

    Stop ripping people off.  Everything says your buying the gun not a skin.
