Yeah, It doesn't deal damage if I select APCR rounds. It should deal much higher damage than normal rounds. Fix is needed.And please make it deal a considerable amount of damage, we have no long-range portable AT solution at the moment.Tanks camp on hills on maps like Aerodrome, this weapon can be their counter.

Hello @EA_AticThe APCR bullets are indeed bugged. When equipped they will no longer do any damage to tanks. They work on personnel carriers, but not on anything more armored than that. This is similar to the Trombone where the upgraded grenade launcher did no damage to vehicles.Please pass this bug on to the devs.

I can confirm that even if you don't see the damage, the peak still allow you to disable tanks parts for the quest

And its not the 1st time that they release a weapons with a broken specialisation. The m28 its improved grenades were also bugged. We need CTE so stuff like this can be fixed before it even goes out to the public.And i had no issues with the overall assignments for it, it only reset the weapon level once for me back to 0 and after that it no issues besides the specialisation issue.

Hi Atic,I noticed that its better against light vehicles yes but still the APCR round is bugged because when u equip the round you won't do any damage at tanks. I love the gun tho, sound is amazing and really satisfying if u land a headshot kill from long range :P

Boys AT rifle with the AP round upgrade does no damage to vehicles.

It appears to be specifically tanks that aren't taking damage from it. Shooting at half tracks and planes did damage.

Can DICE clarify - perhaps that is by design? Isn't that what made the gun fail in real life too?

Yes the gun became pretty much obsolete during the war when the bazooka and panzerfaust/panzerschreck was invented. But it still should have done some damage. They literally made the same mistake with this gun while developing it ingame as with the m28 tromboncino grenade launcher in previous patch.

I have the same bug on Playstation 4. AP round makes only damage when shot on the back of the tank closely. In any other case, shot round just *BUFFFSS* on the surface of the tank.

Sup!

The gun will do a small amount of damage to heavy armoured tanks like Tiger 1, but for light tanks like the staghound or armour cars it's relatively effective but not as effective as Panzerfaust shot would be.

It's actually doing damage but not showing any numbers on the testing I have seen.
