Bug-Origin prompts me to buy Battlefield V again, when I launch Battlefield 1.

Greetings.

I played Battlefield V via Steam, when it had the free weekend trial.

After the trial ended, I bought Battlefield V, Battlefield 1 and Battlefield 4, but did it directly from Origin.

Now when I launch BFV, and press "Esc", the menu that has all the game icons on the left pops up, and I can go without a problem from one game to the other, and see the Stats, Multiplayer, Career etc.

But if I launch BF1, and do the same, it indicates that I don't own BFV, and it prompts me to buy it again. And if I go to "buy" it, it tells me I already have it on my Library, but nothing changes afterwards...

Also, when I go to my Career, it doesn't show BFV there.

I haven't installed BF4 yet, to see if there is also a problem, with it.

I spoken with support, they managed to remove the inactive Steam entry from my Library, but they could not find a solution for the three games to connect to each other, and for the Origin engine, to not prompt me to buy BFV again...

Does anyone here know, any solution to this problem?

Thank you.

  • @pALxBalCaN Outside of trying to switch in-game. Starting BFV and BF1 in Origin does that work and can you play?

  •  @EA_Atic Yes fortunately, I can play both games without a problem.

It only happens if I launch BF1.

I don't know what will happen with BF4, I am low on space and haven't installed it yet.

It is  a nuisance, because I think that if I start building my Stats, with this bug present, I may have a bigger problem later on, as it does not see the BFV in my Career.

@pALxBalCaN Do the old school way switching game by closing down one game and switch to the other one.

  • @EA_Atic I have already done this, many times, the last few days in my testings, but with no results...

  • @EA_Atic No each game starts and plays fine.

It is just that there is no synchronization between them, so when I launch BF1 for example it prompts me to buy BFV, and when I launch BFV it prompts me to buy both BF1 and BF4 games.

And my Career is messed up, because it does not show BFV as an entry, nor as I suspect accepts experience from it...

I haven't got the time to play them extensively yet, when I get to it, maybe I will try to advance BFV on campaign or something, to see if it will gain experience from it, and synchronize them.

It saying that you need to buy in game, is know and working as intended. @pALxBalCaN

What's stats are not working in Battlefield V? (they are just mp related)

  •  @EA_Atic I don't believe this behavior is as intended...

Every time I launch each game, I see different results.

I tried right it now and:
The screenshot, number 1, is when I launched BFV. It prompts me to buy BF1 and although it says I own BF4, it has only the home and store options available.

The screenshot, number 2, is when I launched BF1. It prompts me to buy BFV, and it shows everything as intended on BF4.

And although I have advanced the Campaign missions a bit on both games, and have played a few multiplayer matches on both, in my Career, it has zeros everywhere, even in the hours played, and it doesn't show that I own BFV at all... You can see that on screenshot number 3...

I truly cannot start playing the games, because I believe all the level up I do and so on, is not going to register in my stats.

I have started believing, that someone from EA support, is needed, to eventually access my account, and try to fix it.
