bump, this seems pretty important from a business standpoint.
- 4 years ago@FrodoFroggins There was a thread created on this topic before, but I´m not able to find it anymore. The final statement was, that ingame unlocks are permanent and you won´t be able to undo this. However, calling it P2W is wrong, as these unlocks don´t make you better in any way.

It definitely is P2W, since you unlock all weapons that would normally take longer to unlock. Some of the later weapons are much better than the starter weapons.
Also, I don't care about undoing this, but my point is that someone can get all the benefits from definitive edition without paying for it due to this issue. If lots of people are doing this, does this not eat into EA's profits? What's the point of having a paid "definitive edition" if you can just request a refund and keep the unlocks?
- 4 years ago@FrodoFroggins There are some weapons, that are stronger in special situations. However, after playing almost 1k hours of this game I´m using the starting weapons for 3 out of 4 classes, because they are very strong alrounder weapons and I´m doing great with them.
The fact that you can get all these unlocks "for free" might be a problem for EA, but it is great to know for the community. To be honest after abandoning the development of the game, I don´t care if EA is missing out on money and you as a player shouldn´t as well. 😉
