Can't change scope zeroing distance

Product: Battlefield V
Platform:PC
Please specify your platform model. PC
AMD or Nvidia Model Number Nvidia Geforce GTX 670
Enter RAM memory size in GB 16 gb
Which part of the game is the issue happening in? Multiplayer
Which part of the mode? Frontlines
Please select your region Europe
On which server did this happen?
When did this happen? (dd.mm.yy hh:mm) Since the last two weeks
Summarize your bug When I enter a multiplayer game as sniper, I cant change my scoping range. Its stuck om 60m, and when I press the button to change it, nothing happens. So I have to restart the game, sometimes several times, for it to work. Its really frustrating, so please help me with this bug!
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? All I do is enter a game (been playing alot of "Frontlines"), and almost everytime the scoping range is fixed.
What happens when the bug occurs? Nothing.. Thats the problem.
What should be happening instead? Range changed.

So whenever I enter a multiplayer game, almost 100% of the times, I cant change the scoping range on my sniper rifle. So I have to restart the game, sometimes more than once, for it to work. So its not a setting-fault, or something I've changed. Because a reboot of the game seems to be the solution.

  • First off.
Its a upgrade perk for most of the Snipers.

So maybe that answers why it doesn't work sometimes.
The first sniper is already full upgraded from the start.
Can't remember the Name of it Maybe Lee-Enfield No.4.

On the others you have to choose it as a upgrade.

    I hope this help mate

    Kind Regards

  • Hey,

Yes I well aware of this. I have the perk, and I have the weapon in my hands. It still wont change the zeroing. If I then restart the game, enter the same game mode, with the same character, class and weapon, it works. But not allways.

  • To exclude obvious causes, does the key/mouse button you assigned work in general outside of the game?  Assuming this is the case, it sounds like your game is loosing the keysettings along the way. Have you checked under settings, that the setting is still correct, when your problem accurs?

Yes, the key works otherwise fine. And I've checked the keysetting in-game while to problem is occuring, to check that the function is still assigned to the key. I've also tried changing the key, but the problem still persists. I've also noticed last time I was playing, that the problem might also accour when the server changes map after a mission has been completed.

  • Strange - again just to be sure - and to exclude something happening to me at times: I at times happen to have different weapons assinged to the same soldier (read sniper in your case) when playing on axis or allies side. So when I end up playing on the other team, I may not realize that it is a different weapon (with different spezializations).

When you descripe it happens also after a map change, could it be you end up on the other team + shooting a different rifle without noticing?
