Can't chat- when I press Enter nothing- does a filter think my name is profane?

When I type in chat and press Enter nothing happens. I've been reading that it's because of a filter not allowing part of the player name. My player name/ EA ID is 1R0N-F1ST

What could be wrong with my name?

Does anyone have any suggestions?

    The folks around here will tell you to change your name to one that is not filtered by the A/I. The only problem with that scenario is there is nothing to prevent it from disliking your name in the future. Censorship at its finest.

    I had the same problem, they had banned my name, had to change my account name to be able to chat again.
