cant download battlefield games

i cant download battlefield v it just gets stuck on preparing and i cant add battlefield 1 to my library even tho i have ea play

    Hey @Gnoistan 

    We have received similar reports recently of the issue you have encountered and it is currently being actively investigated.

    If you like, please try some additional steps that could help in the meantime. 

    • temporarily change the folder where the EA app installs and downloads its files.

    • clear the cache files 
    • close the app and run manually the EAUpdater  (located by default in C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\EA Desktop\EA Desktop\EAUpdater.exe)
    • close background applications
