Challenge 'Rescue Resistance Fighter without being Discovered' not completing

Summarize your bug Simply put, I complete the Rescue the Resistance Fighter without being discovered' (did this 4 times now without being discovered) and the Main Menu still says its not done. But when I enter the level to do it, it says its completed. I attempted to do it again anyways to see if that will go through but it still does not change the Main Menu status
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Attempt to finish all objectives of the first mission
What happens when the bug occurs? The task does not show as complete despite it showing so in mission, so unable to receive Solveig's Knife despite all other acts and challenges being completed
What should be happening instead? The task should show as completed, and this in conjunction to the other tasks being completed award Solveig's Knife after all other acts and challenges are completed

On the 2nd Screen shot not only can you see the task complete, but that it was taken at the starting location of the mission

Note: the 2 screen shots attached had to be done with another device as the screen shot button on my PC simply gave a black image every time I attempted to screen shot the game.

    Same issue here :-/

    Tried several runs witout killing anyone, except from the one when you are actually there ... still no completion ?!!?

    Also tried the workaround thingy by moving settings folder and disable cloud saves, play through intro mission and then play the Nordlys from scratch again, opting only to go directly for the resistance figther without getting detected. stil nothing ?!?!

    I know it's holidays, but I sure hope EA is getting into it fast

    I had the same problem but found a post to fix it. 

    EGY-Ali-S had the answer on https://answers.ea.com/t5/Bug-Reports/Nordlys-Challenge-Bug/td-p/7267956.

    You can find the solution below.

    "1) In Origin right click on BFV, then click game properties, and then on the cloud saves tab turn that off by unchecking the box and save.

    2) Go to C:\Users\username\Documents\Battlefield V and move the settings folder elsewhere like your desktop.

    3) Start BFV. You should be asked to change your brightness and sound settings then it will load you into the intro to war stories. Quit to the main menu as soon as you are able to.

    4) Load the war story that you are having issues with. If you have a stuck challenge on the second or third mission you will need to play through until that mission. I just chose easy difficulty so I could quickly run through the missions.

    5) Complete the challenge/collect the letters that were glitched for you.

    6) At this point I finished out the rest of the missions in that war story. I'm not sure if this is required though. Once back at the main menu, you now should have the check mark indicating that the war story was fully completed.

    7) Quit BFV. Go back to the BFV folder and delete the settings folder that the game auto generated. Then move back your old settings folder that you moved from the BFV folder earlier. Turn back on cloud saves.

    8) Launch the game and go to shipments under armory and your melee weapon should be waiting for you."

    thanks for the recommendation, I saw the same fix, the problem is that there is no 'settings' folder in that location for me which is weird, so I cannot use that fix :/

       I'm currently experiencing the same frustrating situation on XB1 version of the game. Have done two different play throughs and still do not have it completed, even though the in game challenge tracker shows I have it completed when I finish the act it is NOT shown as complete.

    @Elephante33 To fix it you need to find where origin saves your battlefield V setting folder, rename it and then delete it and then as other people said use this fix. 

    For PC you can try this:
    1. Rename the settings folder and disable cloud save
    2. Play the War Story, completing the challenges that you were previously missing
    3. Receive the Mission Reward
    4. Rename settings folder again - the skin will remain in the inventory once claimed.

    As the other xbox player @FallofDarkness use this fix for bugged/glitched missions.

    For Xbox it would similar:
    1.You would need to move the saved file from the Xbox to a USB stick,
    2. Clear local and cloud saves for BFV. (This wont remove multi player data)
    3. Start the game. You'll have to adjust contrast and play again the intro.
    4. Now, play the War Story and complete the bugged challenge. It will show correctly achieved.
    5. Lose the game, and restore the game save files from the USB to the console.
    5. Start the game, and you'll have your reward at the armoury.
