I just realised now, that crossplattform play is active in the beta. Many BF players asked for this to be added to the game to increase the playerbase. I really don´t want this to be a thing in BFV. In my opinion, the sticky aim for console players is way overdone. Yes PC players might have the edge, when having to move the crosshair to the enemy fast. However, you are just not getting trough a passage, that is hold by a console player. Prefireing and sticky aim makes it impossible.

@N4v1s Okay 1. You are not my boss or a mod, so don’t try and tell me what I can and can not do. If you don’t want replies from the BFV community don’t post.
Cross platform is a horrible idea and its unnecessary. It’s quite easy to find a full servers in conquest and other game modes at least for the US Servers.
There is also the fact that mouse and keyboard players have a huge advantage over those using a controller. It’s a lot easier to point and click then aim with a joy stick. When playing on a mouse and keyboard you can also utilize more buttons, so you can do various things much faster. If you use a mouse and keyboard you can have 5 fingers on 5 different keys/functions with one hand and in total have 8-9 fingers on 8-9 different buttons/functions. You won’t get any place near that on a controller, even with a modified controller.
Toss in that PC is over run with cheating on BFV.
This is the main reason I’m not buying COD yet. I’m waiting to see how it holds up long term.
Your comment about a similar play mode to BFV. FPS is FPS in my mind. So big maps, teams or any of that don’t really matter to me. so long as it has game modes that are balanced and fair and the object is to shoot people I’ll be interested. If I can log into a COD and play rounds without endless load screens awesome. If I can find a game mode in which most rounds are competitive and not end up on 3-4 consecutive servers in which one team is just slaughtering the other, awesome. If COD can deliver those things, BFV will be getting deleted from my xbox.

- 6 years ago@DarthValtrex First of all, you don´t have to take my comment to personally. As you stated correctly I´m neither your boss or a mod of this forum. However, I can state my opinion freely just as you said. My intention was not to shut someone up. I´m sorry if you felt like that. My intention with this thread is to objectivly compare a specific gamemode from the new COD with BFV. Yet again, this started to become on of the many BFV shaming discussions.
BTT:
I agree with you, that crossplatform is a horrible idea. Both the controller and mouse/keyboard have different strenghts and these do play out in a very different way, which makes it frustrating for the other side in that specific situation.
The cheater situation is defently an important aspect. I have encounter a small amount of them in BFV, but what does worry me is the fact that there has been a couple in the COD beta already. I can understand why console players don´t want to have crossplay for that specific reason.
Funny enough that is also one of the reasons why I personally don´t want crossplay. I know sticky aim isn´t anywhere close to cheating, but it is a program that keeps the crosshair on target. I can´t stand losing a firefight, when I know it wasn´t the skill of the enemy player killing me. That´s why I stick to PC playing.
You mentioned the teambalance aspect. When I´m not mistaken, in COD the client is disconnecting and searching for a new game after every single round. I didn´t pay much attention to the players in consecutive rounds, but I guess they change for every game? There were still many rounds of one team steamrolling the other one, but it wasn´t always just one side. However, this does probably only work so well with a large playerbase. As soon as the playercount goes down, this might lead to really long waiting times or the same team over an over again.
I like that concept, but we will have to wait and see how it works out longterm. On the other hand, I really like fighting the same team over and over again in BFV (as long as it is somewhat balanced), because you sometimes have these rivaleries with one specific player on the enemy team, trying to kill each other, which is so much fun.
