connection speed is too slow and doesn't meet the minimum requirements for

Hi,

I recently downloaded Battlefield V to my PC.

From Day one I wasn't able to connect to any multiplayer game. The error I am seeing is (see attached):

"Game Disconnected Connection to EA Online timed out. Your network bandwidth and/or network latency may not meet the requirements for this game"

I ran an online test for my network, and it had 20 Mbps download and 4 Mbps upload.
I already tried port forwarding and DNS cleaning, none of that worked.

Any other suggestions?

**Update***

Tried this with Battlefield 1, same thing happens.

  • Hi @bleys3 Thanks for going through those steps, would it be possible to put your device in a Clean Boot then launch the game to see if you get the same message?

Hi @bleys3 When you have a moment can you try the following steps if you haven't already and check if this continues?

    • Connection and Advance Connection Guides
    • Check any AV or Firewall that might interfere/control network traffic
    • Check your Modem/router settings for anything that may block/interfere with network traffic
    • Switch from Wi-Fi to ethernet, or if unable move closer to your router.
    • Untick the options in LAN Settings (make sure nothing is checked under Proxy Server)
    • Change DNS settings (You can use the public google DNS primary: 8.8.8.8, secondary: 8.8.4.4, unless there is a different DNS you would rather use)

    Thanks for the reply.

I have tried all of the mentioned steps, and nothing worked for me. Firewall is enabled. Nothing in my Router should block the network traffic. I tried ethernet (with a 180Mbps connection tested).
