Damage STILL reporting way more points than what is done

Product: Battlefield V
Platform:Sony Playstation 4

Which part of the game is the issue happening in? Multiplayer
Which part of the mode? Breakthrough

On which server did this happen? DICE
When did this happen? (dd.mm.yy hh:mm) 21.05.19 1730
Summarize your bug When you hit somebody for X amount of actual damage - the screen reports higher damage (including well above the 100 required for a kill).
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Play Brokenfield.
What happens when the bug occurs? Shows enough damage for a kill. Does less/actual damage and no kill.
What should be happening instead? Should report correct damage.

    Because of how players have access to med packs they can heal, also you could be shooting multiple people. This is not a bug.

    @someguy12121DICE literally tweeted that it is a bug when it came into the game 3 weeks ago. Game UI reports higher damage than what is actually done. I am reporting that it is still an issue.

    May 23 '19 - confirming that this bug is STILL in the game after update.... what WAS fixed?

    The patch notes said that this would be addressed but it was not.

    JUST now: Enemy HIT 128 damage from 1 engagement with the sten. No healing... no collateral damage. This is STILL broken for sure.

    @EA_Atic  - I would also truly appreciate a reply on this thread as this was supposedly fixed on the last patch and nobody seems to be acknowledging that it is still broken.

    Same problem on xbox.. Hit a dude with a frag grenade rifle in the chest for 148 points, turned around and killed me and had 50% health still.

    4 months later (from when the issue started) and STILL NO FIX. We require accurate damage information to be able to play the game. PLEASE FIX THIS.
