This is still a HUGE issue.
It is a problem, I encounter the same on PC. My guess is it has to do with server latency. The tank still show as available on your userside, while somebody with a quicker connection/mouse finger already selected it. So you select it also and while it shows as being selected by you, the game is not able to sort out that you were to slow ending up in a freese on your screen/no spawning in the selected vehicule.
also, the issue of Vehicle Spawn indicators not showing vehicles ready on PC is still present. i have a very hard time getting into vehicles because the Spawn icon says 0, but i continuously see new vehicles spawning in the map in places where i could have spawned had the number changed to the actual numbers available. this is also an issue for aircraft.
a temporary work around for me and several others, is, going into the menu and clicking on "SQUAD", where it shows the squad in the hangar, fixes it as it resets the actual spawn display HUD because it went to the Squad screen.
Agreed SILL VERY BROKEN.
and yet despite another patch and a month later, it is STILL an Issue!
where can i literally scream into a person's ear this is a "Quality of Gameplay" issue, and for them to stop focusing on petty things like "Fixing a texture for a rock in Training Mode"
this is why BF-V is losing players rapidly!
Also, it needs to be changed so that you can click the vehicle you want ahead of time when people are fighting over spawning vehicles ( Especially at a start of round ) , having to take extra time to choose which vehicle 99.99999% of the time results in you losing the "click fight"
