EA aticheat high cpu usage

I thought BATTLEFIELD 2042 was a poorly optimized game, I had freezes, but after adding EA anticheat to BFV, it began to lag. What should I do now? Is there any way to solve this or request a refund on Steam? They'll probably say no, so I threw my money away.

  • Hello @Phaxnyo3t,

    They are still testing out the anti cheat, the issue will be probably resolved in a few days.

    @Phaxnyo3t Me too even when I lowered video settings ☹️
    Ryzen 5600X, GTX3060 Ti GB and 32 Gb RAM.
    As much as I welcome better anti-cheat (with BFV having major problems with cheaters) I hope they can fix this ASAP

    @Phaxnyo3t

    If you used RTSS to limit the amount of FPS in BFV, this FPS limit no longer works, enter the command

    GameTime.MaxVariableFPS 144 (if you have a 144 hz monitor)

    Less FPS = less load on your PC

    EA AC has already been tested, also nothing will change. In my case, the CPU load did not change anything after the introduction of EA AC in BFV
