EA keeps referring to the 'Report article' but the complaint is about reporting

Hello EA,

I noticed the same behaviour when someone tries to tell you that the game is full of cheaters and reporting doesn't help.

I think nobody looks at the reports and because of that cheating players keep cheating.

That is what players are complaining about and the only thing you do is giving a canned response, ignoring the complaint about the reports and referring them to the Reports Article, which is pointless, because reporting players doesn't work.

I think the primary complaint is:

EA you are not handling the reports of cheating players. And you are not taking it seriously.

I know you say you do take it seriously, but we are not able to see this in the game. Reported players are still playing after weeks, months or even years.

The in game detection functionality is absent, which is the biggest problem. Your game engine should be codes such way that cheaters don't have a chance to play with cheats and keep undetected.

I know you are just community managers here doing your job, but ignoring the problem only makes things worse.

  • Be careful what you say in these forums.  Most cheat talk gets the post locked.  EA does not like negativity.  If you don't talk about puppies and kittens and everything positive and you voice your opinion or constructive criticism you will get banned from posting.

  • This is the player that I linked before but was removed due to name&shame rules.

I'd be very surprised if they couldn't build a tool to spot and ban players with such ridiculous performance, so I'm going with 1)

Here is a game report of the player mentioned above.

This report is from November 16, 2021. 4 months ago!

How can you say (EA) that you are serious about cheaters, when a player like this is playing like this for months. I really don't understand how this is possible.

I don't want to be rude, but it really seems that you are not telling the truth here. And what is the chance when you are so 'good' and get 190 kills, that there are ZERO headshots in those 190 kills?

190 kills in 30 minutes, more than 6 kills per minute. That is less than 10 seconds per kill, during the WHOLE game!

  • The player above has been recorded and uploaded to Youtube several times. While he is indeed killing everybody every few seconds. I've recorded a footage in slow motion, his name is not visible in the video, so I don't mention his name. In the whole video you can see him shooting at invisible things. The enemy is not visible most of the time.

But here you can see he just holds his left mouse button, recoiling into the air. Nobody is in sight, but still he hits several enemies, getting a lot of kills in one large spray.

    How?

This is a photo of the frame before he shoots. Normally if I aim this bad, I won't get a kill.

This guy does get a kill, aiming one metre or so above the enemy and he is no more than 50 metres away from him.

This guy is playing like this since 3 October 2021.

@EA_Atic I do respect you, but you do understand that it just doesn't sum up, does it? This player has been reported dozens of times for almost 6 months now. There are plenty of videos on Youtube about this player. You can see that this is really not a skilled player and he is using help.

You do understand that this is utterly frustrating, isn't it?

Hey everyone, thanks for the additional feedback on the reporting system itself. We'll be sure to pass that along.

As for the thread itself, this has turned into another discussing cheating and as such is being locked per this post.
