I am with you mate. Since my first post I experienced one cheater, who joins and immediately does redeploy-cheats until most players leave. Then he joins another round and does the same again and again. Just to kill our fun.
I originally wrote: "Most cheaters don't fly..."
Last night we had five plane cheaters who used spotting cheats and aimbots. And from time to time there are even fighter pilots and bomber backseat gunners, who kill your pilot instantly through your cockpit window without damaging your plane. With their first gunshot, even if they are flying behind you. On top some of them have big mouth in chat calling themselve ACE of ACES and stuff like that.
Tank & Plane cheaters are the worst... No honor at all!
By the way... ESPRIT DE STYLE... Thanks Rico... Gonna steal that brand! haha
EA have clealy abandoned Battlefield but at the same time are trying to squeeze every cent out of unsuspecting customers.
I see that the forum admins also post the lame BFV cheating policy sticky in response to questions about BF2042.
Such a shame for us long-term Battlefield fans but I'm afraid it's over. Maybe EA will go bankrupt with such a horrible attitude to their clients and the forum admins who are the public face of EA's policy will lose their jobs but it wont bring Battlfield back. RIP.

Hi guys!
I'm an old BF player from sweden, been playing since BF 1942. I agree in every word you have said. I think BF V is a formidable game and very addictive, so fun that you even could put up with an occasional cheater. But now the cheaters appear on almost every server and it is getting really frustrating.
So what could be done about it?
In BF 2 you could start a kick vote to kick cheating players. The problem with this was players starting kick votes aginst players they considered too good so this function may not be answer. But another thing that actually worked was players who been given admin rights from EA and were therefor able to ban players who were cheating or teamkilling to get hold of tanks, planes and such.
Why cant EA appoint players as admins to clean up the community from the ever growing cheating horde?

This game can be fun, but I had to switch 5 servers today because of cheaters. And this is in one evening. It's like a pandemic. Worse yet - I've met a cheater I blocked at least a month ago. Obvious aimbot and teleport stuff. Zipping around with MMG and killing people he has no line of sight to. Players know these. Still active. When I told people to report him he just said "What for?". And that got me thinking - if he's still not banned while clearly being a cheater - what are reports for then?
So dear EA, why do we report cheaters? Have any of these reports ever been acted upon? Or is reporting a cheater is also naming and shaming?
- Col_Larsen3 years agoNew Ace@Elemental11 Hi - not dice but can tell you - I have been monitoring sev. and also made video's of them - and after long time when I try to look them up again in BF stat site they are non existing - so something does work. Problem is - because of the non cheat protect (only fair fight but that is not a real protect) that way too many use this. Way too easy just to find and download and use. If there had been a client checker then that would have helped. All we can do is report them - and please study that before in game. Many times during play I get asked how to report and hopeless to explain mid battle how to do that ! But it has gotten servere now. People can speed run - they can one shot kill you - they can go through obstacles / fly around the map. So i would say they control the game big now ! But as DICE / EA say - report them - that is all we can do !
