This game can be fun, but I had to switch 5 servers today because of cheaters. And this is in one evening. It's like a pandemic. Worse yet - I've met a cheater I blocked at least a month ago. Obvious aimbot and teleport stuff. Zipping around with MMG and killing people he has no line of sight to. Players know these. Still active. When I told people to report him he just said "What for?". And that got me thinking - if he's still not banned while clearly being a cheater - what are reports for then?
So dear EA, why do we report cheaters? Have any of these reports ever been acted upon? Or is reporting a cheater is also naming and shaming?

Well, at least some got banned, that's a small consolation. What surprises me, that some people do not report the cheater immediately. And yeah, people do not know how to report so they don't bother. But if the cheater is on your team this round, the next round you will likely play against him, since the enemy team just up and leaves. And it is no fun to play against a cheater, who wins just by virtue of cheating, leaving you no chance. So I urge everyone - if you see a cheater - just report them immediately. It takes seconds. It seems if EA does not want to save this game, it is up to community to save it.
PS: We DO need a guide on how to report a cheater put up in game client, where the videos are...

The Source code was stolen just before BF2042's Release, causing them to abandon and focus on upgrading the engine to support BF2042's (insert opinion) release. This has led to the massive cheating problem that was always a problem but never dealt with until you get the obvious cheaters as they can always plausibly deny. You play any server and there will be multiple guys scoring 60+ kills with 1.5-3x" the next guy's score. Then there are the regular ESP guys flying planes and picking flieg individuals off the map, behind bushes wherever. The obvious cheaters are only the tip of the iceberg compared to the regular problem that has been present for quite a while.

If this is the case they might just cancel the online features because having those blatant cheaters in every server makes it unplayable anyway.
Meanwhile they still sell their product for full price and there blatant lies of their 'our anti-cheat approach in battlefield V.
You don't just leave a community of 16000 players like that.
There seem to be a good reason for EA being voted top 3 worst company in the USA for many years in a row and you can see why.

Even better: Stop releasing online games before you can guarantee players (mostly teens and kids btw) to be able to play in a cheat free environment.
Me personally hate the idea that my 13 yr old son who starts to like online games has to play with those adult cheating creeps who obviously have developed some mental disorder.
