Fire Mode Selector + Death

Are the 'Fire Mode Selector' settings of a weapon saved after death?
E.g. Automatic Fire > Single Fire. Or Low RPM > High RPM.

'Cause if I remember correctly, the M1918A2 BAR in BF1 had singlefire as default and autofire after flipping the switch. So if you died or after being revived, you ended up with the default singlefire, which was very annoying.

*Asking this before the BAR drops in BFV. 😉

  • Hello @zenn_nme

If you switch fire mode, it will save for the whole round.. No matter if you die or respawn... If the round ends, it will be saved for the next rounds as well...

Only if you switch server, you need to remember that fire mode resets so you need to switch it back for single or full auto. 🙂

  • @zenn_nme I'm 99.99% sure it saves during a round in BFV, but unfortunately I'm not able to double check right now.
  • @zenn_nme I can confirm that weapons remain in the setting you select.

For example I use the STG 44 on my assault class with a single fire (don't judge me lol) instead of the default automatic and it has remained in single fire no matter if I change games, get revived, etc

I hope this has helped answer your question 🙂
