FPS Limiter inaccurate

I've been using the ingame fps limiter but noticed that it's very inaccurate. If I limit to 143fps it still goes over 144 and disable gsync, it can go up to 155 even though the limiter is enabled. I need to set it to a maximum of 130 to be able to keep it under 144.

This must be some kind of bug. I would rather not have to use driver or 3rd party fps limiter due to added latency.

Anyone else had these kind of problems?

Running on:

8700k, 1080ti, 16GB 3200Mhz DDR4.

DX12, 1440p

I created an FPS limit via my user.cfg and it never goes above my limit. Have you tried using this method instead of the in game limiter?
