From 140 fps to 50 fps rx 5700 xt

Hello everyone

I am playing a lot of battlefield but this never happened to me. I bough a new pc, in the first 4 days the battlefield worked perffectly with 140-160 fps (gpu card rx 5700 xt, u can check on youtube this is the fps I should get) suddenly one day the fps dropped to 45-65, I sent my pc to the company and asked them to see whats wrong, well they said nothing is wrong! and the computer works great and my gpu card also, and then I got maybe 120 fps max. please help me to slove this problem!

    Hey @MrCrock29

    It's definitely weird that it just suddenly started running like that. Did you make any sort of software or hardware changes around that same time?

  • @EA_Kent no. I satyed on the same version of my driver. recently I installed the new driver. the fps went up . its kind of wierd. 1 day battlefield work perfect with high fps, in the 2nd day my fps was 50 fps and the game sometimes when I going out for a sec to check somthing on discord, when I am getting back the game is freezing. I need to reopen it

    Thanks, I appreciate the details. Would you mind trying a Clean Boot on your PC when you have a chance? If there's a chance that something else running on your PC could be causing the frame rate to drop that should allow us to bypass it. 

    For more info on how to set up a Clean Boot check out the article over at the EA Help website. If you're still running into the same issues after that please let me know.
