Game keeps crashing at random times

Hey, @jenson675 can you try a clean boot to see if any programs are messing with Battlefield V and turn off any overlay programs, such as Discord or Nvidia experience.

Can you add a Dxdiag so we can see what hardware and drivers you have? 

Let me know if this works or not for you. 🙂

I have already done a clean boot of the game and reinstalled Windows 11, and the nvidia drivers.  Same problem.  I have attached my DXdiag.

I have been having the same issue since building my new rig this summer.  DXdiag is attached.  I've done the following:

- Drivers updated. 

- Disabled overlays.

- Disabled direct X 12. 

- Enabled Future Frame Rendering.

- Disabled Ambient Occlusion. 

- Running both EA and BFV as Admin.

Nothing works.  Game crashes without warning within 3-10 minutes.  Happens on Apex Legends too.  Seems to be an EA/Origin thing now since building the rig.  Other games I play run with no issues.  Seems to be an EA/Origin thing.

you have to do a full format, then re-install windows 10. Windows 11 is not supported on BF5, EA support didnt told you right? 

p.s i re-installed windows 10 - 4 times and its worked out! Only one re-installation dindnt do the job, you have to do it 3 more times - then it works! 

@Zannder14  - dont blame EA app/DICE. You config is crappy, and BAD! It's your fault you have a high-end system. Downgrade and you will be fine! 

@rk12peblmvtmHow naively pretentious of me! I'll proceed to re-purchase Win 10 and install/re-install until it works! 😉

Since they switched to EA App is when it started for me. I thought it was from Windows Update until I played around with this. When I went back to Origin games played great all day, as soon as I switched to the EA App games just randomly drop to desktop and EA App with no error message. Then I will have to tell it to repair game and I do not understand that it actually does repair game or at least that is what it shows, and then appears to play long enough. However, I have to run the repair again a couple times the next time I want to play. This is an EA App issue that they have not and don't know if they will ever fix.

So I had a play around with the computer last night.  I can confirm there is nothing wrong with the build or components within.  So I looked at the Nvidia settings and set PhysX to be managed by the 3070 within the 3s settings in the Nvidia control panel.

All my drivers were up to however my motherboard Bios had a number of downloads available.  I updated the motherboard with the latest bios.  I then went to the intel website and downloaded the Intel driver and support assistant.  This updated the firmware I think for the chipset (Z690) for my i5 12600.

Rebooted the PC I have now been able to play battlefield V for 5 hours without a single crash, so fingers crossed I might have solved it.

In the bios, I have an Asus ROG Strix z690 A Gaming wifi D4. I just left everything as it was from the bios flash.
