Replying with a similar problem. Only started recently. I have received several errors that crashed the game. Ill post the DX Diag and the errors themselves attached files.
Each time the game crashes I get no option to report the error. I have stress tested both my CPU and GPU recently for 12 hours, so they are stable. I am willing to provide any other information
- 7 years agoSuffered another. The game is unplayable for me beyond 10-15 minutes.

As an extra bit, I have tried changing from DX11 to DX12, and turning settings to low. I also tried GPU Memory limiter both on and Off. No dice. Does anyone official want to even comment that they are aware of this?

Hi!
I have the same problem.. I can not play the game since the 5.2.2 patch, becouse the game crashes me to the desktop as soon as I try to join any server in any way (or freezes the whole PC all together). None of the suggested solutions i could find so far work (both in the forums or by the help team). I think the PC-specs do not matter here, since there are a lot of us with a lot of different specs and the same issue, but I have an nvidia GTX 970 GPU, and an intel i-7 4770S CPU. Never encountered a crash with the game before and I could run the game just fine on low graphics.
[Opinion and whining]
I'm not really looking for an answer from the community, I'm looking for an explanation and a patch from the Dev. team since clearly they F**ked it up, big time. I'm pretty pissed about this, since I only had 3 days to unlock the ToW stuff, and will travel back home for the holiday so I won't be able to play, regardless if they fix it or not. At this point I am no longer willing to look for a solution by my self and attempt to fix it, I've done it way too many times with this game (for better fps, trying to minimize stuttering and sh*t) and I'm fed up with it. I either want an equal amount of compensation by a fun gameplay and free content or a refund...I 'cant believe I actually pre-ordered this game and convinced myself throughout this whole year of suffering that it will be better. As a BF veteran, I'm quite broken by this..

Same problem for me. After 5-10mins playing, the games crashes to desktop. No problems at startup. After passing first minutes, the game runs smoothly for several hours. Maybe there is a connection to small lags when playing "new" ingame sounds in the first minutes?
Help/Fix would be so great!

Same for me. Just started the game and it crashes around 5 minutes into the game, everytime.
Specs:
RTX 2080 TI
i7 8700k
16 GB of RAM.
Windows 10 64 bit. Update 1809, latest Nvidia driver.
Playing on Ultra Settings, 4k, DX12, RTX on low.

I can't even start BFV or more correctly, the game startes and I can see a hint of the rotating symbol in the upper right corner for almost a second or two, then the window closes. I could play the beta version in September.
Compared to others I have somewhat older hardware but much much newer version of windows, 18282.rs_prerelease.181109-1613.
My first thought was to revert to an older build of windows, but the common denominator seems to be BFV not windows or hardware.
I'll attach both DXdiag and error log for those interested, some text could be in swedish, but the the important stuff is understandable.
- 7 years agoI tested a quite easy thing. I right clicked on BFV in Origin and clicked on update. A quick update started and I then started the game and...
Oh la la, it worked. At least I went through the introduction and tutorial. I'll evaluate if it will work when gaming soon. Now back to work.

Hey, I have the same problem.
Never happened when booting up, only have in-game.
There's no actual pattern, sometimes it simply crashes randomly and I have no clue to figure out what are the reasons exactly.
At first, I though it was the Vertical Synchronization or the DX 12 switch, but neither those nor a combination is the reason behind it.
I'll also add that sometimes I have so random drop of FPS below ~15 for like 0.5-1 seconds out of no reason.

- 7 years agoFor my its crashing aswell. Game stops, and shuts down without error. Today first time while I was playing BF5 pc crashed, I was not able to turn on task manager. PC was freezed completely... If somebody got these problems, its not your pc problem... They have to fix it asap!
- 7 years agoSeems its many that having problems with crashes. Then it sounds like its not the pc that is the problem. As soon as I try to join a match my game crashes while loading the map. It just says that Battlefield V stoped working. Nothing more. No errormessage.

IF YOU HAVE DXGI DEVICE HUNG \ REMOVED DIRECTX11 CRASH TO DESKTOP THIS IS THE SOLUTION:
DO NOT BELIEVE WHAT EA EMPLOYERS WILL TELL YOU, IT IS NOT YOUR HARDWARE. Here it is 24 pages about this problem:
As you can see BAD PROGRAMMED SOFTWARE DOES THAT.
Several leaks are present both in Tomb Raider, Fifa 2019 and Battlefield V.
Anyway I solved it just delaying the "Windows graphics (NVIDIA) Driver responder detector" so for me it's not a problem anymore but don't give bad information. People have just spent 700$+ on a video card (2080 etc.) and you are telling them the GPU is the problem while it's just bad software.
In some cases could be hardware. In most cases it is not. Regards.
FULL SOLUTION:
Didn't work. The delay is 30 by default now and is no longer 2. Turning it completely off didn't help also. This solution was posted earlier in the thread and it didn't work for alot of people.

So the crashes are now occasional... When big explosions happen.
I have Geforce experience uninstalled.
Downclocked GPU to 1350Mhz (2080Ti) when founders edition is clocked at 1650...
Memory downclocked at 2133Mhz in BiOs (instead of 3000)
FF ON
HDR OFF
All overlays in game disabled.
The only crashes I get are with very big explosions on screen, near me.
My GPU is never over 40°C which makes it very weird for it to crash...
Hope this helps any one

Update guy. It’s been 6 months since this issue started happening to me. Here it is; Go to the nvidia control panel and enable “debug mode” under the help tab. If the game stays open for longer, that means your GPU is dying. I had the issue until it started getting worse and worse. I enabled debug mode and the game stayed open for longer (didn’t stop crashing) and then it eventually started crashing. RMA’d my card and hadn’t had an issue ever since. No other games were crashing btw until the very end which is why I thought about debug mode. It took me 6 months to figure out that was the problem.
good luck my guys.

Hey, i have an issue which i didn't have before (maybe around firestorm release too), but after this patch (June 2019), im having crashes without error randomly.. I tried pretty much everything recommended to fix it (even tried running ram at stock speed 2133 Mhz which should be 3000 Mhz) but i cant seem to pinpoint why its happening, can you help?
Edit: I seem to have crash dump files, i can upload them if necessary?
