Regarding config issue

Hi, I know there's been threads upon threads about this and I know any new threads will be locked but I just want to bring something to the attention of the EA team. Every new thread that is being locked is attached with a message - "please check for updates in the mega-thread" or something similar. There was a 'half fix' if you like where players can now access and host old configs. Whilst they can't be edited, or new ones created it still lets a few communities run their servers which is great!

However, there was no message in the mega thread from EA letting us know that this patch had been implemented, even though all of the threads are being locked saying there will be an update message when something happens. Why are we being told to constantly check this mega thread if there will be no update when it is finally fixed anyway? I'm not complaining about the actual issue being fixed or not - I would just like an actual update message when something happens, as that's what we keep getting told we will get.
