Read my reply on the previous page. I had a Dxdiag report complained about my sound card driver. My crashes had nothing top do with sound card drivers or video card drivers. It was Malwarebytes. That program does something to the games & causes the games to crash. Malwarebytes does not give a report that it stopped the game or that the game had suspicious behavior. The game just crashes. BF1, BF4 & BFV all crashed identically. I fired Steam up & played Sandstorm. That crashed after a few moments as well. I finally simply turned Malwarebytes off (disabled the program) & I played through 1 hour of Grand Operations. Flawlessly. I shut the game down, turned on Precision to kick up my vid card clocks and played another hour of Grand Operations, no problem.
Whatever changes were made to both origin and BFV, the changes are not compatible with Malwarebytes. I believe that it's not so much BFV, but origin that Malwarebytes is messing with. Crash origin, the games will not run. Bottom line, if you are running Malwarebytes or any other anti-virus, try turning those anti-virus programs off before starting up origin & BFV.
Edit:
MalwareBytes just updated itself. I had to test. Now with MalwareBytes fully on & protecting, no probelms with BFV. BFV runs very well. MalqwareBytes was at the bottom of my crashing. No problems with soundcard & its drivers.
