Here we go. I've put at least 1000 hours into every Battlefield game since Battlefield 2 and the fact that this game crashes and doesn't let me play literally shakes me to my core (my mental health is failing due to this issue). Not only because this is the only game series I've played with any dedication, but also the fact that I cannot fix this problem and I'm a perfrectionist.
My system spec's is as follows;
-ASUS RoG Maximus IX Formula Motherboard
-Intel Core i7 7700k @ 4.9GHz CPU
-EVGA GeForce GTX 1080Ti SC2
-EVGA CLC 280mm Liquid Cooler
-EVGA SuperNova 1000P2 Power Supply
-SoundBlasterX AE-5 Sound Card
-Smasung 970 EVO NVME SSD
-Dell S2716DG Monitor with G-Sync
-A load of Corsair peripherals.
I was able to play this game for ~425 hours without a single issue and then all of a sudden, around beginning of January, it started crashing to desktop without any error. Naturally, I thought it was my overclock. After TWO months of fiddling with my overclock, I've come to the conclusion that it's not hardware related. I ran Prime95 small FFT's fort two days straight while running Furmark at the same time, not even a frame drop or an error. For the hell of it, I booted to ASUS defualt (slight overclock) and the game still crashed. I then forced COMPLETE stock settings on the CPU and underclocked my RAM to 2133MHz. I bet you can guess what happened. I reinstalled Windows about 7 seven times throughout the whole process. Here are all the other things I've tried;
1. Disabling ALL overlays.
2. Underclocking my GPU by 150MHz.
3. Reinstalling the game.
4. Increasing my paging file to 32GB.
5. Rolling back to last "stable" NVIDIA drivers (416.94).
6. Upgrading to Windows Insider Preview (19H1 version 1903).
7. Testing each stick of RAM seperately.
8. "Clean" booting my system (disabling all services and programs at startup).
9. Removing my soundcard and using onbaord audio.
10. Disabling "Full Screen Optimization".
11. Running both Origin and BFV as admin.
12. Deleting any save files/settings in my Documents folder.
13. Playing with the low graphics option.
The only thing I haven't done is installing Windows 10 version 1709. I only want to do it because the only friend that I have who is able to play this game solidly has that version installed. I haven't done it because you can no longer obtain this version of windows officially and third party providers almost always inject keyloggers into whatever version of windows they upload.

This is the only game that has issues.
I'm just so fed up. Super. Super. Super. Fed. Up.
I dont know where to start.
Specs
Asus Prime x470 pro motherboard
amd 2700x @ 4GHz
2x Zptac 2080ti (one is now out from the pc, because the only reason to have it was ray tracing + nvlink and guess what - NO SLI/NVLINK support)
Gskill F4-3200C14Q-64GTZR Speicher D4 3200 64GB C14 ( only 32G in, because this asus mobo cannot do XMP with 64G)
Samsung 960PRO nvme
Alienware AW3418DW
I have tried everything alexextreme96 has suggested (no oc, no memory oc, reinstall, driver cleaning, diffeerent options, reinstalling c++ redist, updated bios, different rtx cards and so on, closed ALL background apps, disabled prefetch, onedrive services and windows telemetry)
The only non-crashing option is DX11, which gives literally HALF the fps. But as crashes are so random, I cannot even rule this out.
There have been days when BFV never crashes and has 0 lockups and days when it crashes every 30 minutes + random lockups.
The reason I upgraded from last setup (i7 6850, 64G 2400MHz, 1080ti, some msi board x99sli plus), was the random lockups. This has not changed.
I would not even care, if it crashes on conquest, but the damn thing crashes in firestorm too.
I have tried to find any pattern that would make sense (is browser opened in background, do I use alt+tab, any specific situations or effects like jumping into water) nothing.
I will have a nice support session in near future, but so far all I can say is that it has really been a test of faith.
Any reasonable suggestions are welcome.

My game loads onto a black screen I get the loading symbol top right then boom it disappears without any error (sometimes I get errors that are just gibberish) I also went onto the crashdump files and see 20+ crash files.
I have been in a live chat nothing helped
List of things I've done
-Cleared %temp%
-Clean Boot
-Uninstalled and reinstalled Origin
-Updated drivers
-Cleared Cache
-Repaired game
-Updated Game
-Checked firewalls
-Changed compatibility settings
-Uninstalled BF5 and reinstalled it.
This game is * I spend £27.99 on it and haven't played a game of it because of how lazy * EA is they should be on steam where everything works correctly.
- 7 years agoI get this exact same issue and have tried these fixes too, to no avail. The game has worked flawlessly for me since November and this only started happening on Tuesday. Based on this time frame, I feel it seems to be related to the BF3/4/HL servers having issues connecting to the game via Battlelog in a browser rather than directly through Origin as described here: https://answers.ea.com/t5/Battlefield-4/Unidentified-game-problem/td-p/7799916
