Game not launching

Hi.

I am having trouble launching the game. The only thing i see when the game starts is: EA, then DICE, then Frostbite. After that there is the blue background and music, but no thing else.

I have newest graphics driver.

Windows 10

Geforce GTX 970M

16 GB Ram

Intel core I7-4710HQ 2.5GHz

I have tried uninstalling and installing the game, and lots other for 3 hours now.

Does anybody have a tips?

Thanks!

  • -Make sure Win10 is up to date,

    -Disable Virus scanner & Firewall,

-Disable all running background software applications in Windows not required by the game or game-side apps (mouse , teamspeak),

    -Defragment HDD or TRIM SSD.

-Make sure your LCD is running in 60Hz refreshrate or more.

-Reset Nvidia custom display settings to factory defaults.

-Remove the BF-V configuration folder from the user\battlefield 1\ folder and restart the game.

-Reset the machines BIOS / UEFI to factory defaults.

-Remove Nvidia driver with a driver cleaner and reinstall it.

If non of these help please provide a DXDiag or MSInfo , Good Luck!

    @HunHan

As above, can you check if disabling your Firewall (including Windows Defender) helps you play please?

I finally was able to launch the game. 🙂

I tried all of the above, no success.

    The solution:

Create a new administrator account and perform a clean boot in windows.

If you are able to launch the game, try to activate services until you find the one that is causing problems.

in my case it was "AsusGameFirstService". Follow the links bellow.

    I hope this helps 🙂

I am experiencing a branch of this issue except for me it's the exact opposite.

I go to quit/exit the game and it just freezes up my entire computer operating system and I cannot do anything afterwards other than force a reboot.

The only solution I have found to work around the issue is to alt + tab out of the application and manually force it to quit to avoid the problem and oddly none of the other 50+ games installed on my computer give me this problem.
